When my Dad passed away I didn't have much help nor did I know what I was doing. I had called many places but nobody was willing to help us. Eric came out right away. He wasn't worried about "money" like everyone else we had called. He simply said you guys have been through enough for today, we'll meet up tomorrow and go over things. He made everything a little bit easier and we all felt like we made the best choice. I would recommend this place to anyone and everyone. Thank you so much for all your help and support!
I can't even explain in words how wonderful and caring Erik and his staff are to everyone. I highly recommend this place to everyone. The florist is amazing. This place is a hidden gem and all should know about it! The place is just beautiful. Erik pretty much does anything you ask or need. Just amazing! Thank you all at O'Learys for your services you have done for my family and my sisters families. You are the best!
Eric and Jacob were fantastic. My father recently passed away. They made the experience of arrangements as easy and smooth as it could be. Even with some drama that came along... They stayed professional and caring as ever. Like another review said, Eric isn't like other places when I called around. He didn't look at us like another pay check. He was caring and understanding of the situation. With also doing little things here and there for no charge. He's a genuine, caring human being. While also having a lovely location. I can't stress how great these individuals are.
This service was very disappointing to say the least. At a time of grieving the last thing needed is jokes and that seemed all they were about. Going back to the grave side hours after we were told they would take care of getting flowers there to find them scattered all over made me angry to say the least. They also put the obituary in the register and forgot to put date and then wanted to charge us to fix it. Many things made this the most unprofessional burial I have been a part of. I DO NOT RECOMMEND!
Caring staff that pays attention to the slightest detail. We were very pleased with the services provided for my mother. They provided us with a local visitation followed by a funeral the next day in Iowa City. Our family will certainly use this funeral home again.
